Joe Coleman

There's not much you can really say about Joe Coleman, he's one of the more famous "lowbrow" artists. I love the literal/storytelling nature of the work and it's obsessive attention to detail.

Hi again.
Just to let you know, that the style of this artist remind me a lot to this other one: Nazario.
He is a spanish underground comic strip artist and painter from the 70´s.
Here you have some images from his artwork.

Thanks! oh wow yes! I see what you mean. Comic art is so underrated - Both remind me of R.Crumb as well.

100%. :D
Robert Crumb is their father, I´m sure.
But I´m sure too that he has seen Nazarios works because of the distribution and colour on his paintings. Who knows..... ;D
I´ll show you another artists from the same date who made some paintings for the first Almodovar movies by mail. ;)
